You Should Claim Money From These Class-Action Settlements

Companies make “mistakes” all the time, and a small number of those incidents turn into class-action lawsuit settlements where those companies owe customers money. But if you never claim the money, it goes to the pool of customers who did claim it. Here are the class action settlements that you may qualify for, and their deadlines.

Claim your T-Mobile settlement payment

Jan. 23: About 76 million costumers’ data were breached on Aug. 2021, and there’s a $350 million settlement for it. If you were a costumer during the data breach, you’re eligible for $25 in payment, and if you were a California resident during 2021, you might be entitled to $100. You can submit your claim here. Keep in mind, this is separate from the most recent data breach of 37 million in November 2022.

Former employees can claim a Spencer Gifts settlement payment

Jan. 25: Spencer’s has their own class action settlement of an undisclosed amount after a data breach incident in 2021. It’s specifically for former employees, so you can submit your claim here if you worked for Spencer Gifts during Nov. 2021 and your data was breached.

Claim your part of the Procter & Gamble settlement

Jan. 26: According to Top Class Actions, Procter & Gamble agreed to pay $8 million to resolve claims that its aerosolized products contain benzene, a known carcinogen. Anyone who bought Secret, Old Spice, Pantene, Waterless, Aussie, Herbal Essences, or Hair Food aerosol antiperspirant, deodorant, body spray, dry shampoo, or dry conditioner products between Nov. 4, 2015 and Dec. 31, 2021 is eligible to the claim, and you don’t need proof of purchase. The Experian settlement is a larger payout

Jan. 30: According to the settlement, Experian agreed to pay $22.45 million to resolve claims for incorrectly reporting some residential information as “high risk” when their credit reports were checked. There are two different eligibilities: the Policy Change Class and the Money Class. Only Money Class will receive payments, which could be between $300 and $900 depending on how many people file a claim. Check which one you’re eligible for, and file your claim here.

Jan. 31: The company agreed to a $19.5 million settlement to resolve claims that its infant formula doesn’t make as many servings per package as promised on its labels, according to Top Class Actions. Claims can range from $3 to $45 depending on how many units you bought. File your claim here.
