What's New on Paramount+ With Showtime in July 2023

This past week, Paramount+ caught flak for making like Max and Disney+ and removing content so its parent company could take a tax write off. This included nixing Paramount+ Originals like Grease: The Rise of the Pink Ladies (which only finished releasing new episodes on June 1) and, most controversially, rescinding the second season renewal of the animated Star Trek spinoff Star Trek: Prodigy.

What I’m saying is, you should take the below list of what’s coming to the streaming service with a grain of salt. Who knows how much of this stuff will stick around for more than a few months (or less)? On the plus side, most Paramount+ subscribers now have access to a bunch of Showtime content, so you can fill the Grease-y hole in your schedule with Yellowjackets and Billions.

One safe bet: The July 23 premiere of Special Ops: Lioness, another entry in the vast Taylor Sheridan-verse—this one starring Zoe Saldana as a government agent in the war on terror. Nicole Kidman also stars—another big get for Sheridan, who also recently roped Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone, and Helen Mirren into appearing in his shows.

Here’s everything else coming to Paramount+ With Showtime in July, including Goliath (July 14), a documentary about basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain. Titles with an asterisk are available only to Paramount+ With Showtime subscribers (and you can get a free 30-day trial right now); you won’t get them on the cheaper ad-supported plan.
