Unlike most holidays, St. Patrick’s Day is less about the food, and more about the beverages. On top of that, what are largely considered the traditional dish and drink of the day—corned beef and cabbage, and green beer, respectively—are American inventions.
But no matter how (or if) you celebrate, you have to eat at some point on March 17. Fortunately, there are plenty of offers out there to feed you throughout the day, whether you need a snack, or some late-night soakage. Here are a few of the St. Patrick’s Day food freebies and deals for 2022.
Applebee’s
Applebee’s is up to its usual antics—in other words, colorful $5 cocktails. This month they’re called “Saintly Sips” and include the Tipsy Leprechaun, (made of Jameson Irish whiskey, melon liqueur, blue curaçao, sweet and sour, and lemon lime soda with a gold sugar rim) and the Pot O’ Gold Colada (a piña colada featuring Captain Morgan rum and mango).
Arby’s
Get 15% off your purchases at Arby’s when using the Ibotta app.
Bar Louie
In-bar beverage offers are available from March 12-19, including deals on green beer, Guinness, and a Jameson Irish Whiskey Sidecar for $3.
Chili’s
The $5 marg of the month is the Lucky Jameson—made with the titular Irish whiskey, as well as tequila, triple sec, and fresh sour mix. It’s available in the restaurant all month, and to-go (at participating locations).
Del Taco
Place an order through the Del Yeah! Rewards app on St. Patrick’s Day and add some guac to your food for free.
Noodles & Co
All salads and veggie-based noodles are buy-one-get-one-free on March 16 and 17.
Sonic
Corn dogs are half-price at all Sonic locations on March 17.
STK
Get Lil’ Corned Beef Sliders with Tater Tots for $6 and the Leprechaun Stiletto cocktail for $9 from 3 to 6 p.m from March 14-18.
Wendy’s
From now through March 31, get 50% off breakfast orders made through the Wendy’s app. The offer refreshes every day, but can only be used once a day.
