It’s understandable that Amazon’s Prime Day sale (June 21-22) looms large for most consumers—the company rakes in just under 50% of all e-commerce retail revenue, nearly six times that of it’s next closest competitor, Walmart. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t find a better deals elsewhere, as other large retail chains also have big sales over the next few days. Here are some of Amazon Prime’s biggest flash sale competitors:

Bed Bath & Beyond’s Beyond Big Savings Event runs through June 23, with markdowns up to 50% on bedding, luggage, and appliances. The store is offering same-day shipping to customers with purchases of $39 or more.Best Buy’s “Bigger Deal” sale offers deals on appliances, electronics, and TVs, some of which are cheaper compared to Prime Day discounts, although the number of deals and products will be more limited. The sale runs through June 22, and there’s no paid subscription membership needed to get these deals. Dick’s Sporting Goods is offering 50% off select products through June 23, while supplies last. Dick’s has some exclusive items not found on Amazon, particularly for camping equipment, so it’s worth comparing between the two sites when you’re shopping for outdoor gear.Gap Factory is offering a sale with competitive discounts on summer wardrobe essentials, worth up to 75% off. Free shipping is offered on orders over $50. JCPenney is running their “Biggest Flash Day Sale of the Season,” which offers 35% discounts on items that are already discounted, though some exclusions apply. That means discounts over 50% or more on household items, and clothing is super cheap, too—sometimes just a few bucks an item. In-store pickup is available.
Kohl’s WOW Deals event runs through June 22, offering savings on houseware, toys, beauty, and apparel. You can also earn a store voucher worth $10 for each $50 you spend. If you have a Kohl’s credit card, an additional 15% discount applies on items sold during the sale. Kohl’s offers limited-contact drive up at most stores.Macy’s is offering 70% off as part of its “Epic Specials” sales event on everything including jewelry, clothing, and travel essentials through June 23. Many clothing items are discounted below $20.Nordstrom is doing a clearance sale on some of its inventory, which means 60% off clothing, shoes, and accessories. This sale is more limited than their big Anniversary Sale (coming July 6), but the discounts on big brands like Manolo Blahnik or Nike shouldn’t be overlooked. Old Navy has an online-only sale with deals up to 50% off through June 22 (excluding Every Day Magic deals and existing 50% off offers). Whether you buy something as part of the clothing chain’s regular Every Day Magic sale or as a part of this 50%-off deal, clothing items like jeans, sweaters, and dresses can be found for under $20. Target has a “Deal Days” online-only sale through June 22. The company says that shoppers can expect “hundreds of thousands of deals” across an array of categories like clothes or electronics, with discounts ranging from 10% to 50% off. Unlike Amazon Prime’s members-only sale ($12.99 per month), “Deal Days” are open to anyone. There’s also same-day order pick up if you live near a Target fulfillment center.Walmart’s “Deals for Days 2021” sale runs through June 23 and gives Amazon Prime Day a run for its money, as the company has similar discounts for a large selection of items across categories like electronics, patio and garden, home appliances, toys, beauty, and fashion. No membership is required, shoppers get free two-day shipping on orders over $35, and in-store pick-up is available on selected items. Additional discounts and free shipping are also available if you are a Walmart+ member ($12.95/month). Wayfair is in the middle of a 72-hour “Clearance Day Sale,” which offers deals worth up to 80% on overstocked or discontinued items. The best deals seem to be for patio furniture, TV stands, dressers, and coffee tables. No membership is required.
